About the Presenter
My name is Kevin W. McClain and I have been a professional investigator, national speaker, trainer, author and consultant for over 20 years. I am the proud president of Kevin W. McClain Investigations Ltd a multi state (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Wisconsin) investigative agency. We have a staff of 25 investigators in various investigative disciplines with over 300 years of experience. I am also honored to be the Chairman for the Education and Training Committee for INSPI.
What people don’t know about me is that in my previous life I was a New Business Development Manager, General Sales Manager, Retail Manger, Radio DJ, Night Club Owner and Entrepreneur. I have owned managed and developed various successful businesses. The core theme was they all involved the General Public. I took the skills I learned along the way and went to school to be an attorney then got involved in an internship doing legal investigation. As they say the rest is history.
From my humble beginnings in a town of LESS than 15,000 people I have been blessed to now have an agency that conducts investigations on daily basis in 5 states and consults nationwide. We now have over 25 investigative professionals working for us.
I have always enjoyed teaching and training to help other people be the best they can be. I have now decided to take that one step further and help the people I care about the most and that are other fellow Professional Investigators. I wish there would have been people there for me when I started that really cared and would not look at you as their competitor but as another professional who is doing what he is called to do. If only they would all realize there is so much business out there if you just take the blinders off and don’t develop tunnel vision.
Basically what I am trying to say if this Humble Boy from Illinois can do this in a town of less than 15,000 people you can to. I want to share that journey and help you to continue to grow and succeed in this amazing profession.
